Q&A
Why did you choose GFA?
Being a trans person in our current political environment has become increasingly scary over the last few years, and one of the commitments I made to myself and my community was to be a part of changing that truth. Having the support and community from GFA makes that all much less daunting, and that community is why I chose GFA.
What does public service mean to you?
Public Service is, at its core, about helping people and providing accessible support to our communities.
What makes you feel most connected to those you serve?
Sharing stories. Every person is a set of unique experiences, and sharing stories is one of the best ways to build connection and understanding despite having had different experiences.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I was the first baby born in the state of Montana at the start of the millennium.
